Samuel Akerele, Sammy Guitar (born April 9) is a Nigerian gospel guitarist, singer, and songwriter, popularly known for his mastery of the guitar.
His guitar play pattern, over time, had gained prominence where he’d decided to infuse jazz with gospel highlife, a classical genre flavoured with the West-African musical texture. He’d launched into a successful solo career, alternating between jazz gospels, blues and highlife music. Sammy has enjoyed nothing more than putting on musical shows for his followers to enjoy.
This impressive masterpiece acts as a follow-up to his previous work of creation titled “Gospel Guitar Medly”.
