Paulson Kalu is a veteran Nigerian musical artist who specialize in the genre of philosophical highlife music. Born in Akanu Ohafia in Abia State Nigeria, in 1940, Paulson Kalu had his tutelage under Stephen Osita Osadebe of blessed memory, alongside the likes of Ali Chukwuma, Ozoemena Nwa Nzugbe and Gentleman Mike Ejiegha. His hit tracks includes but not limited to Ama Ndi Anaeze, Poor Man Life, Uwa Zuruonye and Ji Ehele. Paulson Kalu has a prolific career, being one time chairman of Abia state chapter of Performing Musician Association of Nigeria (PEMAN). He is currently traditional chief of Akanu Ohafia and Evangelist.
